Day 5 @ Chennai

Today is a great and tiring day. We went to a historical place called Dakshina Chitra. We had iRace in there. The iRace was so long. We came in third. At least better than nothing.

After the race, we went for lunch then shopping. We , went to a shopping mall and the 1st shop is named ‘Landmark’. There, I bought a game called “Called of Duty 2”. Shernise bought 2 mugs for her little cousins. Then we went to the shop “Adidas” and I bought a t-shirt and Michael bought a shirt from Pepe Jeans.

Then, in the evening, we had dinner in KFC. I love this place. Hope I can come here again… Anyway, I think I have no chance. Bye bye!

Day 4 @ Chennai

Today, we went to Gateway School to meet our buddies. Michael and I shared the same buddy named Dejoel. We went to his house and didn’t know it was in the outskirts of India. His house is big. More like a pet shop. He has two dogs, two aquariums and one bird. Michael was sleeping most of the time, while I was playing with one of his dogs a German Shepard called Rocky. Dejoel’s mum decided to go out so we went to a zoo. There were goats, pigeons, geese, emus, birds and way more. I had a really wonderful day.

Reflection@ CIP - Day 3

We went to government school. The school's students were so unfortunate. I think we are very fortunate. We made a library corner for them. The school had no electricty. Even though they had fans, they weren't working. They are still enjoying even though it wasn't in a good environment. I think they felt very happy. And I felt kind-hearted. I really felt great today.

School & IT Visits- Day 2

In the school, it was quite surprising to see that the facilities are almost the same , as what Singapore has.The similarities are the computer lab and the hall. The difference is the size of the whole school.

But I really liked the way they welcomed us. It was fantastic! And the feel was so warm. Their school life looks simple. They have air-con classrooms. I like their hospitality, it was perfect. I really think they did a great job

Day 1- Chennai

Well, my favourite place was the Marina Beach. On the bus, the beach looked like it was a really a beach. As I alighted the bus, it looked liked a desert. The beach was so long, it looked like we would get deserted in the middle of it.

We did art using sand. I think walking across the beach was a good excercise. We had lunch at Kabul. The food was ...... Not bad. Almost everyone was complaining about the spices I did not felt anything. We had dinner at Shogun. It was a Chinese-style Indian restarant. The food tasted great I think this is about it.
